Boutique Burp Cloths

Here are some burp cloths that match the nursing cover I recently made.  A clean, simple style for boys; and, for girls, a ruffle!

Baby Blankets

These blankets are made from really soft flannel.  I pick out coordinating fabrics so they are reversible and also really warm.  Perfect for covering up in the car seat or putting down on the floor as a play mat.

Here are some recent ones I've made for baby gifts.

Nursing Cover

This is a handmade version of the "Hooter Hider" that they sell in all the cute boutiques.  It has:

1.  really cute fabric
2.  a wide adjustable strap that can be pulled only one way (this means the baby can not pull the strap undone while nursing)--always a plus, right!
3.  boning around the neckline so that you can see the baby
4.  I can add terry cloth to the bottom edges so you can flip it up and use it as a burp cloth also.

Enjoy the picture of me demonstrating sans baby!

Lauren's Diaper Bag

My mom is giving this bag and the accessories to one of her friend's daughters.  It will be a perfect diaper bag and I think it really suits her.  I filled it full of all sorts of pockets of multiple sizes and used some of my extra fabric to make a matching changing pad and burp cloth.

Birdie Sling

My first Birdie Sling.  I carried it to Bible study today and I had no trouble fitting all my regular purse items plus my Bible and study book.  It is really big.  It would make a great diaper bag.

Brandi's Diaper Bag

This is made from the Happy Bag pattern.  I used fabrics designed by Tina Givens called Chloe's Imagination in the Oberon Reds.  They are gorgeous fabrics and it was fun to make a bag using color combos I hadn't used before.  I love these browns/reds & creams together and I think they make a neat one-of-a-kind creation!

My First Toile Bag

I made this bag for one of my mom's friends, Elaine.  I discovered some iron-on letters that were a neat monogram style.  They have a velvety texture.

Handbag Sized Frenchy for Joanna Timm

I've always made the big Frenchy bag, so I tried the smaller one that is more like a handbag and it is really cute.  It has all the pockets on the inside too.

In Town Tote for Nikki's Niece

Okay--in person this is one of the cutest purses I have ever made.  I was blown away when I sewed it together and was able to pull the purse out of the lining to have this cute thing revealed to me.  Perfect for a date night or a teenager!!

Nikki's Diaper Bag

This was made using the Happy Bag pattern, but I changed the closure.  The pattern calls for three small loops and buttons and I changed it to one big tab.  I also did pockets all around the inside of the bag of all sizes so she can use it as a diaper bag.

Most of the fabrics come from Anna Maria Horner's Chocolate Lollipop line and a few others thrown in there as well.

Mustard Flower Funky Tie Tote

Amy Butler Nappy Bag

This is the diaper bag I wish I had when I used a diaper bag.  Although now I use this bag when I need to carry lots of stuff!  It is my amusement park bag, day-trip bag, etc. and is full of inside pockets and also a cute cell phone pocket on the outside up on the strap.

Tie Tote

I love this purse.  It has 4 roomy inside pockets and also pockets for pens or lipstick.  I personally think the outside pocket has too much contrast in color to the rest of the bag, but that's my lesson learned.  When I make another one of these, I'll have my outside pocket be a different fabric than the bag, but more alike in color so it doesn't stand out so much.

In Town Bag

Here's another version of the In Town Bag.  It has heavy-weight interfacing in it so it feels very sturdy.  I still have to add a button and loop, but it's already a perfect little date night bag.  It has a contrasting lining and 4 inside pockets.

Frenchy Bag

This bag has a really cool shape to it and the way the top part contrasts with the bottom of the purse and the handles looks really good.  It has lots of pockets on the inside.

Swing Bag

This is the perfect bag!  I have about 6 of them in all sorts of fabrics and colors and it's reversible.  I've also made it non-reversible and put pockets inside.
